Latisse Eyelash Growth Serum

By Latisse

Bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%

LATISSE® solution is a prescription treatment to help grow longer, fuller, and darker eyelashes for people with inadequate or not enough lashes. While it may sound too good to be true, it’s not! Just take it from the FDA.

Size

5 mL bottle

What it does

Latisse is a prescription drug that's used to enhance the appearance of eyelashes by making them longer, thicker, and darker, It's the first FDA-approved treatment for eyelash growth and is believed to work by prolonging the active growth phase of eyelashes. Latisse contains bimatoprost, a lipid compound that increases the number of hairs produced and lengthens the hair growth period.

Doctor's Tips

LATISSE® should be applied at night after removing makeup and contacts and cleansing your face. (Don't worry, you can pop contacts back in 15 minutes after you've applied the product!) LATISSE® comes with single-use applicators. Here are the four basic steps to apply LATISSE®:

  1. Remove a sterile applicator from its tray.
  2. While holding the applicator horizontally, place one drop of LATISSE® on the area of the applicator closest to the tip, but not on the tip itself.
  3. Immediately brush the applicator carefully along the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes (where the eyelashes meet your skin), going from the inner part of your lash line to the outer part. Do not apply LATISSE® to the lower lid.
  4. Use a tissue to blot any excess solution that goes beyond the eyelid. Throw away the applicator. Each applicator should be used once. Repeat the steps for the opposite eyelid with a new, sterile applicator.
What's in it

Inactive ingredients: benzalkonium chloride; sodium chloride; sodium phosphate, dibasic; citric acid; and purified water. Sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid may be added to adjust pH. The pH during its shelf life ranges from 6.8 - 7.8.
