Dr. Lily Talakoub M.D., F.A.A.D.
CEO, Founder, board certified dermatologist
Dr. Lily Talakoub, known to her patients as Dr. Lily, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology. Prior to starting her own practice, McLean Dermatology & Skincare Center in 2009, she served in the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General. Regularly leveraged as an industry expert in the media, Dr. Lily is a frequent guest on local and national television networks and contributes to a variety of national publications including Allure, Glamour, VOGUE, InStyle, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, BRIDES, Shape, Parenting, Self, and more.
Dr. Lisa Akintilo M.D.
Dr. Lisa Akintilo is a board-certified dermatologist with substantial clinical and research interests in acne, pigmentary disorders, procedural dermatology, global health, and mitigating healthcare disparities. She has a strong background in public health (MPH) and is passionate about connecting and collaborating with medical peers across the globe. She is also an advocate for community partnerships, medical education, and mentorship.
Dr. Michael Anderson M.D.
Dr. Anderson is a board certified dermatologist and native of North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed a master’s degree at the University of South Florida prior to graduating with his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. Continuing with his North Carolina ties, he completed residency training in dermatology at the University of North Carolina. During his time in medical school, he was privileged to be elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and to serve as his class president. He then served as chief resident his final year of Dermatology training. He has authored numerous peer reviewed journal publications and continues to be active in dermatologic and dermatologic surgery research. In addition to his love for dermatology, Dr. Anderson enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and their wonderful dog.
Kristen Stirling, MSN, FNP-BC
Kristen Stirling, MSN, APRN, FNP is a seasoned Dermatology Nurse Practitioner. Kristen’s experience, knowledge and personable nature are all key factors in why she has built lasting relationships with her patients, many of whom have been seeing Kristen for years. After graduation from the Belmont University School of Nursing, Kristen joined the Burn Unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She then moved into private dermatology practice with a large multi-specialty group in Nashville, first as a Registered Nurse, then as a Nurse Practitioner in 2012. In 2020, Kristen began offering telehealth appointments. Her interest in telehealth for dermatology grew as a natural result of these appointments’ convenience and popularity. Her practice now solely focuses on serving patients through convenient telehealth with online dermatology appointments. Kristen lives in Tennessee with her husband and sons. She enjoys reading, sports, and travel.Qualifications: Licensed RN and APRN in Tennessee, Board-certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Member of the Dermatology Nurse’s Association
Sarah Minka, D.O.
Dr. Sarah Minka is a board certified dermatologist whose mission is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for patients to feel comfortable sharing their concerns affecting the skin, hair and nails. She imparts a personalized aspect to the practice of dermatology, working together with her patients to achieve their goals in a way that best fits their lifestyle. Dr. Minka grew up in Iowa where she attended the University of Iowa, obtaining her bachelors of science degree in Integrative Physiology. She went on to receive her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her dermatology training from the University of North Texas Health Science Center where she served as chief resident.
