Stratamed
By Stratpharma
Stratamed is a transparent, film-forming wound dressing that's used to treat open wounds, compromised skin, and scars. It's a silicone gel-based product that's applied to the wound and dries into a flexible, protective layer.
Size
0.17 oz / 5g
What it does
It builds a protected environment for healing to begin. Stratamed and Stratacel are the first film occlusive agents that we can actually put on the wounds immediately, and we never had that. So even if somebody has an open wound or a closed wound with sutures we don't have to wait for the sutures to come out.
Doctor's tips
- Apply TWICE daily
- Prior to application, perform hand hygiene •
- Apply a thin layer of Stratamed®, with a gloved finger, to the affected area. Allow the drying process to continue.
- A secondary dressing is not required.
What's in it
polysiloxanes and siloxane resin
